The InformAll Food Allergy Database

The InformAll database is being developed with funding from the European Union to provide a credible source of information on allergenic food materials of both plant and animal origin.

The second release is now available publicly at http://foodallergens.ifr.ac.uk/search.lasso, and contains searchable technical information about some animal and plant allergenic foods. Technical information on additional allergenic foods will become available during December 2005 together with summaries of the information suitable for a lay audience.

The database is based on our previous PROTALL database, which was set up in 2001 and simply included information about plant food allergens. This database is still available (See http://www.ifr.ac.uk/protall/). It has not been updated since 2002 and is provided as a historic reference purpose only.
