Es la página oficial de la Sociedad Española de Alergología e Inmunología Clínica. Está fundamentalmente dirigida a médicos alergólogos pero tiene una sección dirigida a pacientes alérgicos en la que es de destacar un cuento de dibujos dirigido a niños (muy explicativo también para adultos) en el que se comenta con el ejemplo de un hipopótamo con asma el diagnóstico y tratamiento de alergias. Se responden a preguntas normales de personas alérgicas y hay una sección de consultas

The Allergome website has been designed to supply information on Allergenic Molecules (Allergens). The Allergome Database is mainly addressed to people working in the Allergy and Immunology fields.

The Allergome is based on the literature published since the early sixties. The current base is 4000 selected papers (April 2003) and is continuously updated. All the Allergens and data available in the IUIS Allergen Nomenclature Sub-Committee website are currently present in the Allergome Database. Information and data available within the Allergome database are cross-linked allowing the user to navigate within the site. External links are provided to reduce redundancy of information available on other websites. On the basis of stringent immunological and allergological criteria, carefully characterized Allergens that do not fulfil all the IUIS Allergen Nomenclature criteria are included in the Allergome Database. Allergens (especially contamination with allergens) are mentioned throughout the manual. One of the program standards (02.6) deals specifically with allergen control.
